Our once proud strength of the defense is no more. We let all of our NT's go and now we're paying for it big time. The secondary had always been questionable now with the front 7 struggling with the run we may be in for a long season.. Also doesn't help that the offense has gone MIA..

Entire team sucks! Offense, defense, special teams...they need to get their sh*t together or watch the Seahawks play SB 50 in our house!

LOL. You seriously think that 2011 defense was sustainable long term? That was a HISTORIC defense.
Defense is fine. Get the offense to help them out and they will look better, but regardless of that they have played well this season thus far. Are they the same defense of 2011? No. But that wasnt sustainable long term anyways.

we can stop the run. we can't stop it for 4 quarters straight
seattle and indy ran it 86 times combined. the past 2 games.
and our offense gave them no rest.
the defense has been damn good. our offense has been the entire problem

We can stop the run, but they are human. Doesn't matter how great a defense is if they're constantly on the field because the offense can't do squat. If the opposing offense pounds the rock enough times, they will tire out.

But, but, but I thought we don't need a NT because it isn't important...

They stopped the run in the first three quarters, but they got a little tired being on the field for the entire game. Run defense is the least of our worries, although things might change soon with Willis (possibly) and Aldon being out. Thankfully the Rams can't run the ball for s**t.

yeah the offense is suppose to make the defense look good and that ain't happening. This isn't the 2011 defense, but then again our offense was suppose to be the highlight of 2013 but so far we only played one game that showed that. I've been saying it, the Packers put the blueprint outthere on how to beat us. St Louis will do the same thing and we had trouble with the Rams last year. Until this coaching staff makes adjustments, we're doomed.

Well the Rams seem to play the niners tough every time we play. Remember last season?

Yes I do. Doesn't have anything to do with what I was talking about though.
