True. But Boldin is gone after next year and Johonson probably has to take a pay cut. I wouldn't mind cutting Johnson straight up and using that money to sign Revis. That would mean no Crabtree either and probably replacing Crabtree and Johonson with a drafted reciever and a cheap one like Hakeem Nicks

Seriously? Not only would it take significantly more to sign Revis, but do you realize Stevie Johnson caught like 70% of the passes thrown his way? Imagine if Jim Harbaugh/Greg Roman actually used the guy.

It was never really a 5yr deal, it voided after 2 yrs, and it already has voided, he has no 2016-2018 contracted years in the NFLPA database. He is signed for 2015 and that's it right now.
