For those that think the rankings aren't important, they aren't. But they do provide a good source of comedy. Seeing the rankings and the reasons behind them make me laugh all the time.

Ghey, I hate when this team has been ranked #1 its never been a good sign. Doesnt mean anything, but we typically lose once we jump to #1.

Niners #1 Seahawks #2. Come on. The media has such a hard-on for the Hawks they should be embarrassed. No way a team that barely wins against Carolina should ever be #2, especially when the rightful # 1 or 2 embarrasses the Super Bowl champs, Broncos should be #2.

I would rank us #33. We're not even good enough to be among 32 NFL teams, especially that Kap takes so long to check down.

+ Staley's boneheaded penalty choking Matthews....cost us a 1st and goal. he should get shipped to Bill-eze (our hated rivals) and never be a Niner ever again for that.
