I hope Harbaugh gets signed for like 10 years with us.

The thing that makes me smile is everybody flipping out over some supposed lack of value we got for Cam and Parys but when you look around at the rest of the league nobody else is getting premium value on trades right before the 53 man cutdown and just like last April I know my team is gonna use these picks to jump in front of the Shecawks and take the players they were targeting.

Still has 3 years left with us. I could see him extending after this season. Probably not in any hurry. He's not going anywhere. He should get a raise too but knowing him he will take less because he doesn't care about money other than for supporting his family. Hopefully we add an extra 3-5. Really the only thing keeping him from coaching for us for 10+ years is his health. The man chews, chugs diet coke all day, he's so animated on the field. He definitely looked like he gained weight and was getting out of shape but I think since he had that heart thing done the doctors and his wife really go on him. Just wish he'd stop chewing though, good way to get cancer. Anyways, all that being he's the kind of guy who if he isn't coaching he isn't living. Not sure if even is family is enough to keep him off the sidelines. He'd probably coach until he can't anymore but on the other hand maybe he becomes like Bill Walsh, short but sweet. Don't want to think about this team after Baalke and Jim but should be many many years down the road before we have to worry about that.

Lemonier would have to step up big time THIS season for that to happen

This is an offense that can grow together down the road, plus you have veteran targets in VD, Boldin, Crabtree, so many potential options. At RB you have Hunter, James and Lattimore ready to step in for Gore who doesn't look like he's ready to be done anytime soon. Combine that with a terrific young OL and a young, franchise QB and the future looks incredibly bright!
Pretty much why this offseason hasn't been as painful as I always imagined it might be.
It's more than a hope for the future, it's a supreme certainty that the 49ers are top dogs for years and years to come.

Good post. We havd a QB on the rise behind the best oline in the game. This draft class coupled with the chris harper signing. I mean we could have at least 5 starters in the next couple of years from this class. Best part. 12 pick next year. Where done teams have to rebuild every couple of years were not going to miss a beat. It all comes down to next years draft. We have to hit on some cbs, a center, and a WR. If we can do that we wont to worry about investing in those positions financially. Lets be honest the cap is going to be tight so we need cheap labor.

He'd have to change his entire wardrobe if he left.

GREAT upbeat post and right on the money.
These guys Trent/JH & FO really know what they're doing.
The reason I'm not worried about Kilgore is that JH doesn't "settle for the get-by" but brings in competition. That's why Cam and Harrelson are gone.
I don't think Tank can replace Justin nor do I believe there are 1-2 players in last draft who could. BUT he's going to be damn good and a difference maker.
Then there's next draft and although I just don't see us giving up the farm to get Clowney - I can see us getting someone VERY good to keep the ball rolling.
GO NINERS!

The thing that really makes me smile?
Waking up to a morning BJ. Yeah... that always does the trick.

What's special about a morning BJ?
I would think BJ Daniels would do better later in the day.

Those are the girls you want to marry. If your GF has not performed this service for you, its time to move on.
