As far as I know, the NFL has never had a power outage until the past year where they had 3:
Candlestick park
Super Bowl
Tonight at San Diego
In all 3 cases, the 49ers were playing. What are the odds of that (I think it is 1 in 4096)? It seems like the 49ers have some strange curse. If I am the power company/stadium manager, I start checking my electrical system twice before they come to play. I hope the 49ers new stadium has a backup system in place.

What team has been in all 3 stadium power outages in the past year?

I think Sapp said it best, with a team like the 49ers and the power surge they bring, you have to expect power outages.

There was no power outage tonight, they turned the lights off for the halftime show. The announcers said it a million times.

Really? I wanted it on NFL Network and that wasn't said. Ok, only twice in the past year then. PIT game was in 2012 not 2011, unless I am totally losing it.
