I'm making excuses for Brock? I'M ACTUALLY BRINGING UP EVIDENCE THAT HE HAS OUT PERFORMED COX. Much better than someone saying, "Well it just looks like Brock is always two yards off the WR." Brock is giving up .5 yards per coverage snap, while Cox is giving up close to a yard per snap.
And why would it make me feel better if you analyze Brock objectively tonight? Doesn't matter to me one bit, you should analyze EVERY player on the team as objectively as you can. I know what I see, I don't need anyone making up things to change my opinion.

Jones went for a 7th round pick, and Contanzo only wanted a 1 year 1 million type of deal.
I agree, out if all the solid moves Trent has made. Letting these two go stands out as a mistake. It's funny when we sign someone we think is unimportant and say " Championship", the irony here is its probably true!

LOL! Definitely, we take STs for granted but that was the reason the Ravens won the Super Bowl, and the reason we lost the Super Bowl. Obviously not the ONLY reasons, but take away Jones TD and it is a whole different ball game. Just glad we have a kicker who doesn't make us nervous for any FG attempt longer than 40 yards .

That's what we all thought when we decided to let Costanzo and Jones go because they weren't versatile enough. I think we should keep 6 and Cooper or Morris should make it. Not like we have an abundance of depth at DL or S anyways. Spillman and Dahl can backup both spots so we don't necessarily need a 5th S. DL Dial and Carradine to PUP so could might only keep 6 so there might be room for 6 CBs.
But you thought right, after all you previously stated and shown how Brock was the best on ST.

Well, just because Brock has been good doesn't mean we made up for the loss of Costanzo and Jones. I still remember how we utterly dominated the Saints with our STs in the playoff game. We don't win without our STs dominance that game.

Actually, that's besides the point, point I was making was that ST'ers are a dime a dozen.
Don't get the infatuation with Tramaine Brock, dude is replaceable....easily and with very little cost.

And your kidding me right, I don't want Kyle Williams anywhere near PR or KR duties. I've always said, he makes a better receiver than a special teamer. And judging
from what I've seen of Cox, Kyle Williams is NOT the better PR.
Also, I know penalties happen but how can you act like he played better than Brock this preseason. I already put out their stats and Brock has out performed him by even going up against better competition.
Who said, I'm acting like Cox has played better than Brock, go back and read my post. All I'm saying is I think Cox has a little more value than Brock.

Cool, as long as we are clear Brock is out playing Cox.
And Gore21 posted those stats on Brock to show he is not a terrible STs player, for that person who said he is.
And yeah, Williams is ahead of Cox for PR/KR duties if you have not noticed. The versatility of Cox argument is getting cute, but the biggest thing going for him is his ability to play the slot.

Pretty much, I'm pleased with his development and it will be interesting to see what happens next year. Brock may become the NB next year if Rogers and Asomugha leave. Personally, I'm hoping Asomugha has a great season and we retain him for another year.
