yes, he was solid, we have gotten more out of our rookies this year so far in three games than we did with last years rookie class during the entire season

yep, lots of excuses were made for that class but face it, it was just trash cept for james. the two catches of baldwin surpassed the "production" of jenkins we got from him in over a year.

I think I would add LaMichael James to the losers category. He just isn't playing all that great.

Winners:
- Colt McCoy, outside of his bonehead INT, he moved the pocket and had sustained offensive drives. He either helped himself secure a roster spot, or elevated compensation for a trade.
- B.J. Daniels, he locked himself for the #3 spot. It's now McCoy vs. Wallace for the #2.
- Anthony Dixon, dude has come a long way since his rookie year. He reminds me of Harbaugh's version of Terry Jackson - RB/FB with ST contributions.
- Starting defense, what a difference it makes to have Justin Smith back in the lineup. Ian Williams was wonderful as well.
- Quinton Patton and Jon Baldwin, outstanding performances for the young football players. Wonderful job.
- Michael Wilhoite - Outside of that missed tackle, dude continues to shine.
- Special Teams - all of them did well.
Losers:
- Hawkins, I don't care about the TD return or catch, you don't pull that crap when you are a bubble player on the roster. You didn't perform for the Titans, and now when you had a chance, you blow it?
- Garrett Celek, am I the only one that notices he's not that good of a blocker and drops a lot of easy balls? This is probably one of our top 3 positions of need.
- Scott Tolzien, you're fired dude. Frankly, you might get cut tomorrow.
- Parrish Cox, he had a very lukewarm game after standing out for the first two games.

He played the same way as I control an RB in Madden...spin, spin, juke, spin, and slam the controller down to the ground and realize I should stick to the pass.

Reid's play is impressive. He's so natural, reacts so well. Reliable tackler. Does anyone else think he might eventually wind up as free safety? I think he's a reliable hitter but not a big hitter. he won't cost us 15 yarders. He sees the field so well, he needs freedom to react. He really looked good.
The rest of the D was good, not dominating. I think we sacked Minnesota ...once? Lots of pressure though.
The receivers came to life today. Patton and Baldwin and Moore are definately upgrades. Could be difference makers. Lets see more.
Looney, bad bad play on KWilliams. Not sure what that was all about but there will be payback.
McCoy killed himslef with that int. But, he came back and led some respectable no bonehead drives. I actually liked the playcalling -- we gave up the pocket and had him roll. He does better like that. Good job adjusting to the players (yay! please do more).
McCoy was in the showroom window tonight. He will be traded if we get a good offer.
Special Teams are lurching towards respectability. Still, penalties!
This team is so deep I wonder if we go with 2QBs, and stash one on the practice squad.
