For those with the "Wallace was backup to McCoy in Cleveland" = "McCoy was better": McCoy was the young QB they wanted to find out about, the team had no delusions of winning a SB, Wallace never got an opportunity to win the starting job even though he looked better in preseason since Colt was anointed starter.
McCoy and Wallace are actually pretty similar players with one difference - Wallace has an NFL quality arm. You're better off with Wallace, even though the best move is still to work a trade for a Cousins or a Foles - the future is now, and if Kap goes down, NONE of the current options are gonna keep the boat afloat more than a game or two.
PS - Wallace was pissed that he didn't get a chance to win the starting job, and he and Colt aren't the best of friends, so that should be an interesting dynamic.
