And Jenkins still hasn't made a catch for the Chiefs yet. LOL.

Well, there is a reason for that.

He still has to get acclimated to the offense, develop rapport with his quarterback, learn the playbook, get comfortable with his teammates, gain confidence, settle in with the team, get coached up, find his rhythm, get more experience, get a chance to play with the starting O-line, get plays called for him, make sure his cleats are the right type of cleats for the field, get comfortable with the weather, get acclimated to the new time zone, make sure his uniform fits right, sit in on the WR meetings, get more reps in practice, communicate with his teammates.

Once he does that, I'm sure all his doubters will be proven wrong.

Hahahhahhah.

Yes, I agree. I reckon by mid-season 2014, he should be able to break out and play some ball.

This JB is a baller. I like the way he gets open with his size and speed. He can maul DB's.

man, when we were down on the goal line, I thought what a perfect opportunity to test out his jump ball skills.
I want to see him get some serious time with the 1st team
Damn, we went from 1 viable receiver to too many.

Here is who I think is viable on the team excluding Crabtree and Manningham:

1. Boldin
2. M&M
3. Patton
4. Collie
5. Hawkins
6. Williams
7. Baldwin

Add Manningham and Crabs, and you have 9 wideouts. Who gets cut?

Collie will probably be cut because he has no special teams ability. It is obvious that he still has plenty left in the tank.
I'm diggin the slants. Damn good to see this guy perform well so far when AJ was just in a rut for the past two t.c. and preseasons.

I know he isn't great, but maybe that change of scenery and pressure of losing a dreamjob will motivate him.

If we keep 5 WR it will be:

1) boldin
2) Moore
3) K Williams
4) Patton
5) Baldwin

PUP: Crabs, Manningham

They likely will keep Hawkins as a 6th WR, have him return kicks, and depending how he does with that....possibly cut him when MM returns, as someone else mentioned.

We run a better probability of having another WR go down at some point. Just turns into musical chairs.
