The "We can't think of a good name for the Jon Baldwin thread" thread

Can you guys take this stupid conversation to that god awful Chef's thread.

True. We really missed Josh Morgan there not to mention the rust delanie was shaking off after the broken jaw due to the knee he took to the head up in SEA from Leroy Hill. Last 2 playoff runs we have sustained late season injuries to our receiving core and have had to put practice squad guys on the field

While Morgan was missed, I don't care how weak we were at receiver, there is simply no excuse for the lack of balls thrown to receivers in the NFCCG. If our QB has guts, we win that game going away.

I'm still bothered by that game. How people defend Alex in that game is baffling.

You echo my sentiments. Alex is at the very best, an AVERAGE NFL QB. The 49ers are a loaded team and have been for the better part of the last 4 years.
We do need to get back to Jon
^^^ Right on Any word from the coaching staff how much of a role they expect to give him on Sunday? Will he play with the 1st team, how long, etc?

speaking of which...if some haven't seen these yet, here are all the videos that NFL.com have of Baldwin. He seems to have balance issues with route running and after the catch, but his potential is there.

I think its time to change the title of this thread or make a new thread for Jon Baldwin, not for chiefs players that are former 49ers.

Alex Smith, bless his soul, is no longer a 49er.
Please just stop hijacking threads in Niner Talk to talk about him.

Please.

Nice!

This play shows me he has what it takes. Physically, and with attitude.

That one play eclipses AJ's whole career

Meanwhile, I'm watching the Raider game and Alshon Jeffrey looks really good :(

wow a 26 yard pass. that's amazing. that's way better than a TD pass or run. oh wait....
Delanie Walker 2.0, if he couldnt catch the balls of the QBs he's had, its hard to believe he will "magically" catch everything Kaep throws.

Right because it wasn't like we had the lead at that point...
