First just a leader comment, I know for sure the 94 9ers would obliterate this Seahag team. They would be battered and spiritually done by games end. I miss Kevin Gogan.
Anyway, I've never hated a team or fan base in my decades of being a fan. Until now.
I absolutely frikin hate this seahag team and their loud mouth punk fans. They used to have some class, not anymore.
I want to see the 9ers stick it to them with the ground game until the D line is worn out.
I want to see the 9ers rotate Dlineman until the seahag Oline is worn out.
Then I want to see the 9ers pound and pound and pound more until the seahags are driven into the dirt physically and mentally.
Then I want to see us air it out in the 4th quarter and run up the score as far as humanely possible.
Even if we are up by 40 with 2 seconds left, if we have the ball, I want us to slam it in again.
Any questions seahag fans?

Packers last year had to readjust their offense in the 2nd half to move the ball
Patriots had better success but still two interceptions
Those are two more fluid passing offenses, so I'm not sure the best route is to try and overwhelm them that way. I think the strategy employed in the Candlestick game last year is the way to go. You can always take (and should take) shots.
Whatever it is to establish the dominant ground game, we should do. I think the biggest difference between 2011 and 2012 was diverting from our strength of the running game to experiment with more passing....sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
Vernon on Sherman is interesting, if only for the decoy aspect. We've gone plenty of games where VD has been a non factor and done ok (this is a worst case scenario of course). As a pure receiver, VD is lacking in route running.....where I think he makes up for it here is the fact he is still a TE, and if he's always covered by Sherman, there will be mismatches in the run game. Switch over to an LB or S and you have a coverage mismatch.
McDonald will be key.
Seahawks12thman, a question for you:
How do you explain the Redskins' 1st half domination in the playoffs? If Bobby doesn't go down, many feel the Skins win the game.
It was the first quarter and yes the Redskins dominated but Football is a game of adjustments. The Redskins had 69 yards total the rest of the game. No question the Seahawks benefited from RGIII going down but Shanahan (For reasons that escape me) felt like that was better than putting in Cousins when RGIII was limping noticeably. Morris was shut down after that drive so you have to give some credit to the Hawks D. It is similar to the superbowl and the lights going off, did the niners benefit?? I don't think so, they made an adjustment (maybe a bad comparison). The Seahawks took the second half kickoff and marched it to the 1 and fumbled so that was a touchdown that we didn't have. All you can do is win the game. Anyway you want to spin it they dominated statistically but had a healthy RGIII played I think it might have come down to the end. Here were the stats: http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=330106028
I think the Hawks belonged, coming back 20 points on the road against a veteran team like Atlanta was impressive even though they loss. Winning is a fine line, the niners stopped the Falcons, The Hawks didn't. I think our d line was so banged up I highly doubt we would have won at the stick the next week even if we held off Atlanta. Having a beat up D line with the Niners O line is not a recipe for a W.

You should take the family, put on 49er jersey's and head over to the Black Hole. I'll bet you'll love the Seahawk Fans then...

Seattle looks really good.. Mid season form especially the def.. I'm
worried about our receives matching up... Bolden will be ok but we need a receiver who is a good complement.... Somebody has to separate.

Let's try and not get our 5 yard FG blocked and returned for a TD for starters

We better not turn it over like Denver has. That's what doomed us last year against them.
When I reviewed the loss @ Seattle, our offense was not as bad as I initially thought. We moved the ball, even while struggling with the crowd noise. The turnovers killed us.
3 times we turned the ball over in Seattle territory:
1. Akers low FG kick blocked, returned for TD. 10 point swing. Momentum, already favoring Seattle, flew off the scale.
2. Manningham fumbles deep in Seattle territory. Same play he blew out his knee.
3. Kap throws INT in the endzone. We were inside the 10 yard line.
That's anywhere between 9-21 points we left on the field. Completely different ball game without those screw-ups. We cannot allow the energy of the crowd and the Seahawks to rattle us again. I think we'll be better prepared mentally, and systematically to deal with that atmosphere this time. I hope Harbs has a plan to shorten the time needed in between snaps so we're not snapping the ball with 1 second on the playclock every time.

It's preseason. Most teams do not take winning or losing in the preseason that seriously. Loser teams like the Seahawks and punk coaches like Carroll like to run up scores in the preseason because it makes them feel like they're winning something. Preseason has never ever mattered. We revisit this issue year in and year out. Do you remember when Steve Spurrier started running up the score in the preseason as coach of the Redskins? What good did that do them in the regular season? They were a loser team because they couldn't win when it counted.
