Interesting: "In his past three games, however, Brock's performance has dipped. He surrendered the Jaguars' only touchdown – a 29-yard reception by Mike Brown – in a 42-10 win over Jacksonville in London. In the past three contests, quarterbacks have a 127.0 passer rating when throwing in Brock's direction, according to Pro Football Focus (14 of 21, 250 yards, 3 TDs, INT)."

Most of that came in garbage time when Brock takes chances. nothing to see here.

Well, you can't make money if you don't invest money...still and all...we owe Aso another $470K ...is that right AB?
As to Chaz's point, Tramaine has been the "golden goose" for us in the backfield. Man, his coverage is tight, he seems to position himself, unlike Goldson, to break up a pass, rather than to rammycackle the WR who catches it. He also is a great hands guy, and has super concentration, particularly on two of his INTs. And Chaz was right, some of the stuff completed on him recently WAS in garbage time. To have him emerge and Reid be the complete player he is, our DBackfield is twice as good as last yr, maybe better, MINUS goldson. Wonder how he likes that money in Tampa with that bottom of the barrel team. Funny how some guys get it and others don't. You get on a great team, you take a tad less money and you have a legit shot at a title virtually every yr. Tampa has a legit shot at the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft. Bad move Goldson, but sure are glad you are gone. The other maddenting thing is that goldson killed us every game with stoopid penalties, totally unnecessary. Rally killers, virtually every time. Not now. These guys play their position the way it was meant to be played. If Eric can bust into that group, so much the better. He probably will play in dime paks initially. ASO, for whatever reason, just looks like he lost it all in Philly. Weird.

I'd rather see him compete as the slot DB and let C Rogers cover outside on certain passing situations.

Not really he was decent in coverage, he lacked tackling.

could just need a change of scenery and the added incentive of playing for his favorite team. i remember whitner wasnt the best in coverage but hes been great in our scheme, especially this year with reid next to him. niners have really good coaches on defense so i think he'll step it up. i think the biggest problem with nnamdi is that he lost his confidence and he couldnt get it back

Change of scenery I agree, it was just a numbers game with age and group of CB's, I think Denver would be a good place for him to go. Denver plays a lot of man coverage and they need the depth.

ya denvers defense started off really good and has let up a lot lately. not sure if nnamdi would help them tho, the fact that he cleared waivers tells me teams have given up on him

To be fair Kegley is the worst interviewer in the world. He interviewed me before and it was just awkward and turrible. I remember leaving and being like "This dude does this for a living? No way, that can't be possible."

That could work. I'd personally push Wright to play both outside spots for Brown/Rogers (get him some snaps at his natural position)...would love to move Morris inside to the slot and try him out there (develop him) and also use Wright ahead of Cox in the dime.

Will be interesting to see how he plays but really right now the secondary is not the problem. They are one of the few groups that has stepped up this year. Wish he was a good WR instead. Anyways, has anybody seen Cox out there lately? Seems like he is getting limited time and also with him not getting returns he could be gone after this year. He can be tendered at 1.4 mil but not maybe we are weeding him out? Then again might need him if Brown, Brock, Rogers aren't on the team next year. I think we could look to bring Wright back as well for cheap but of course depends on how he plays.
