hi guys,
i`m taking a vacation in vegas in december and have managed to get a ticket for the mon night falcons game on dec 23rd.I`ve been a 49 fan for 30 years but have never had the
opportunity to see 9ers at the stick so i thought i better go before they move out.
I`m hoping to travel back to vegas after the game,my flight is at 10.35pm.Is this flight makeable or would you recomend an overnight stay?
I`ll be taking a cab back to the airport-are there plenty of cabs available after the game?
Any advice would be really appreciated

WAYYYYYY too much traffic - stay the night see all the great things to see, enjoy yourself and have fun.
Great city, great restaurants and lots to do.
I live in Vegas and never miss an opportunity to sight see whenever I can. Life is short - get it while you can.

stay in the city and enjoy a couple days out there and do everything. i wouldnt want to go back to vegas after the game, rather i would hit up some bars and get some drinks with the fans.

You wont make it, if your flight leaves at 1035

It can take up to a couple hours to get out of the stadium and onto the highway. You can't make that 10:35 flight.

For a MNF game you will wait at least an hour and a half for public trans. After the game.

That will be a very tough flight to take. Just stay and celebrate the last game at Candlestick with the rest of us! Should be a wild time

What a coincidence, the moderator English is on that same flight and has tickets to that same game!

You would have to leave the game at haltfime or 3rd quarter to make the flight. If you leave when the game ends it's very unlikely you will make it. You should just change it to the next morning and stay at a hotel near the airport.

please don't wander around hunters point at night after the game or you'll end up on the 11 o'clock news

Advice. Hummm. Let's see, in order:
1) You certainly don't need a cab from the airport. It's a very manageable walk and you wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity to stroll through Hunter's point on your way to the stadium. Lots of boutique vendors and memorable vistas,
2) If you see some rough looking dudes in the parking lot dressed head to toe in red, be sure to disarm them with a local ice breaker "Tu madre mama mi verga, pinche puto Norteno!" It roughly translates "Your mother clearly raised you well and many blessings you, Northern friend!" I promise that you'll be surprised by their response.
3) Once inside, you might wonder how all those folks got down on the sidelines both before and during the game. Well, here's the scoop: the niners security staff employs a fun variation of the children's game "tag" to get the fan base pumped for games. So, when you see Kaepernick or Gore or any 49er starter on the field either during the games or warm ups, if you can jump on the field and "tag" that player before you get caught and before anyone else, then you get to stay on the sidelines for the remainder of the game!
Enjoy the game, friend! Go niners!

Your other option would be to walk to the bayshore Caltrain station (30 min walk from stadium) and take the train South to Milbrae station. BART and Caltrain connect there and you can take the BART to SFO airport.

This. If it was a sunday afternoon game, no problem. You have very little chance of making this happen on a monday night.

I have not been in the City for years, but two areas near the Stick, Hunter's Point and Double Rock, used to fairly rough neighborhoods.
I would suggest that you avoid them at night, and in the day for that matter.
