Okay, you got me on Bowman - he was a 4.7, less than a hundredth of a second off of one of the Seahawks starting corners.

Exactly, you can't even go off of numbers. When you think of Bowman's speed he looks faster, but is he faster going off of published results? No. Willis's time is faster but does he look like he's faster? Not to me at least.

Willis isn't expected to be the safety valve on defense like he used to when you would see him running down wide receivers . He still covers TE at an elite level and never lets a rb slip through his grasp . His body has changed a bit with the UFC training , age , and years in the nfl but clearly the niners have altered his role a bit to ensure his longevity.. Maybe he did slow down just a little bit after the hamstring injury..
