Well, we have to figure out the cap implications. It may not be a guaranteed contract. STILL A GREAT MOVE because NFL contracts are generally not guaranteed.

Not to derail the thread, but they don't need Tank to play at 300lbs. Justin plays at 285-290 and does fine. Tank is already pretty strong, and he'll have to get stronger if he wants to eventually take over for Justin, but they don't need him to put on 25lbs.

i think if you are going to take a chance on anyone it would be him. after what he has done for this franchise and the high level is has played at every year since he got off that helicopter, you as a franchise show a little good faith. It is the right thing to do, it is the logical thing to do and yes, it is the emotional thing to do
