This thread is high comedy. Some of you are really freakout artists. It's the fricking first day of OTA's. They've got months to figure out a variety of alternatives to Kaepernick to Crabtree for a first down.

Uh uh too much the injury risk but with a healthy OL and a bruising rushing attack all we need are targets that get separation and or attack the football. We have that. Crab tree is special but so is the QB. He makes plays too and good QBs elevate the WR play to get the most out of them. Kaep has done this and he will have to continue to do so. We will miss that YAC though

BTW, that 57 1st downs is an average of 3.5/game... a rather significant contribution to the offense.

we're going to miss it if no one steps up. Someone, if not multiple players, will step up in this offense. Kaep can get the ball to anyone.

All I have to say is thank God for Baalke. Getting Bouldin, now, for a sixth was the best that could have happened to us during the offseason given Crabs' injury.

I believe G-Ro will now alter his offense to accomodate loss and go w more 2-TE sets w Davis and McDonald. And here we thought we would see more 3 to 4-WR sets.

We will be fine though. We will see how these young guys step up and which vet we pluck off the street.
