Anyone know if Dixon got a new #?
The big news of the day is Boldin. He looks like he's ready to play the #1 role. This could turn out to be a really good thing. They brought Moss in last year to mentor the young receivers and to a degree he did an ok job. Boldin is just the guy to coach them up. He is tough and performs on every play, and above his speed and talent level by sheer commitment and desire. Moss was just the opposite.
What's with all the ongoing negativity on Jenkins. The news is that he looked good catching balls all over the field away from his body. There are plenty of receivers who are thin that tear things up. Let's wait and see and celebrate the good news when it comes.

Take every PD article with a grain of salt... a certain jack*ss family name likes to create controversy wherever they can. The mercury news article already contradicts the PDs opinion of both Kaep and AJ.
A little note on WR Moore and LMJ as punt returner.

LMJ as punt returner.

Vernon Davis also split time during individual periods. The veteran play-maker began the day with the tight ends, but later ran routes with the wide receiver group.
A.J. Jenkins appears to be much more comfortable. The second-year wide receiver looks fluid in his routes and is able to catch passes away from his body all over the field.
Kaepernick's arm strength is still impressive as ever. Accuracy has also improved for the quarterback heading into his third NFL season. Kaepernick finished the 7-on-7 and team periods 9-of-15 with a dropped pass. Kaepernick's two-minute drive to close out practice ended on a 3rd-and-5 incompletion intended for wide receiver Chad Hall.

Nice...I was saying if Vance emerges, you can really eff up defenses by splitting VD out wide (remember, the wheel route starts on the edge of the LOS and wheels out along the sidelines). Imagine him in a straight line...not many B's would be able to keep up with him. Then, you can also work him, ala Boldin, in the slot as well. My personal favorite would be to use VD out of the Q formation and isolate him on a LB. Done deal!

This is very true. I've watched this over the last few years. Grant is often wwaaayyy off in his assessments of players. I think he get's into a mindset about certain guys and it skews his perception.

He is a douche that can't generate interest by his poor reporting, so he trolls players and team to get clicks.
The problem with Cohn is that he has the knowledge and temperament of a average webzoner with the platform of a real live reporter. Not a good mix.

Whats with the very serious ankle tape on Dixon? Only one other player directly behind him has a full ankle wrap.

The reports on him getting better in PR's is also pretty exciting, sounds like he has made some good progress. Dudes explosive with the ball in his hands, the more opportunities he gets the better.
