I think you guys may be going too light on CB's @ 5. We always have injuries here and play many 3, 4, 5+ WR sets.

Michael Thomas cut, according to his twitter page. Not sure if legit yet.

How does the PUP list work? I have read some people stating that LaMichael James isn't eligible. It would be great if we could put him there because we could get a good look at both Kyle Williams and Lavelle Hawkins as returners in that six week time frame. We could also see what Jewel Hampton can do against real competition, though I don't expect him to outproduce James (4.6 ypc in the regular season). Another option is giving Anthony Dixon more carries. By the time James returns, Hampton may still have practice squad eligibility, and we will have a better idea of who to release if Mario Manningham or Michael Crabtree return this season. I think if any receiver not named Anquan Boldin or Quentin Patton expects to stick over the course of the season, they will really need to distance themselves from the rest of the guys in the pack.

Lifelong, pretty sure that guy was thinking of practice squad. James could go to the PUP but he'd be out 6 weeks at least for a injury he should be back in 3 weeks.

We still have like 7 or 8 more to go I believe. Depends on if you keep 54 and put Dobbs on the suspended roster exemption list. If we do he can come back week 2 after his suspension is up and then we'd have to cut somebody.
