Miller has nothing to worry about Tukuafu does.

Agreed, and probably Celek should be a little worried too. But Tukuafu is sure looking like a goner at this point, most likely eliminates his chance at the #2 FB position and he's fighting against Tank, Dial, Jerod-Eddie and Okoye's potential just to make it on the 53, not to mention the 46 active. If he's not in the top 46 then there is no difference in having him or Okoye on the roster if neither suit up on gameday.
Ok - that explains it - 274 lb FB is huge. But he is really a 274 TE being designated a FB makes some sense. I love the guys nasty blocking until the whistle. This could be a really nice chess piece - especially if he can catch just well enough to force defenses into a heavy formation to counter him as a blocker and then he occasionally burns them with a release and catch.

Should be fun to see how he fairs in camp!
Does it ever seem that the new 49ers staff never says "Oh we have enough of those guys, no need to add another one at that position." ?? They always seem to add yet another interesting option at every position.

Pretty awesome they are always searching for another good piece. Love this staff. (NOW, just rotate the darn DL this year to keep them fresh!! - :)

Also found a vid of him mixing it up with Moody haha

Awesome...he will be our wham-block specialist with a side of pancakes.

I love me some pancakes on Sundays

Can develop into a possible OT has that nastiness

HarBaalke? Maybe I should be asking YOU what you think? LOL
Miller has nothing to worry about...pretty sure they're looking at Schepler to do a number of things. Blocking for sure, ST's, who knows what else. Just falls in line with big guys who can move and do multiple things that Harbaugh's all charged up about.
I like his attitude but honestly hard to tell in highlights the majority of those he had leverage on. The most impressive one was at 36 seconds to me back side of a toss against smaller player he locks on and sits him down. The play is broken and he created the cutback lane by just being mean. Not sure he will ever see the field but good to have guys with some nasty on the PS.
he can't have QP's future #!!!
I'm pretty sure Miller is safe. Just added competition and possible ST player. If miller gets hurt we have a big drop in the next guy up. Its good insurance.
Miller is safe. I think Tukuafu and A.Dixon are gone if this guy dominates in TC. He's a nasty blocker, good pick up IMO.

FYI, Schepler weighed in at 292 Lbs. at his Pro Day.

"Schepler said he weighed 265 pounds when NIU opened the season against Iowa, and 275 at the Mid-American Conference Championship. After the Orange Bowl, he asked his coaches and agent what would be the best possibility for him, and what he heard was the offensive line. Last season, former NIU coach Dave Doeren raved about Schepler's blocking ability.

So, Schepler has bulked up to 300 pounds and has been drilling as an offensive lineman."

#84 in the background, yeah he looks like he is gonna need to drop some weight, but if that is 290-300 pounds on him... he's not as fat as I thought he'd be.

Zone actin up
