I could see the niners only keeping 5 WR's and 4 TE's.

LMJ- Kick Returner, punt returner
Chad Hall- kick returner
Vance McDonald
Gray- both line up in multiple positions and can be utilized as possession WR's.

Versatility wins out, at least in my mind, maybe, I think. I go with Gray.

TE, H-back, emergency full-back--adds roster flexibility.

And special teams!

Plus 3 of our TE's can split out wide if called to.

I'd like to see us trade celek to the ravens, Osgood or a different receiver to Chargers and as many trades for late round picks as possible. The value of our 90 man roster needs to be taken advantage of when considering the massive amount of injuries across the league.

Oh yeah, I also think Gray makes this team.
The Niners have so many troubles....like which player do we have to cut that we really don't want to cut. There will be a lot of those guys on the 53 man NFL roster, it just won't be in San Fran. Its a nice problem to have.

Really like this guy, hope he gets more reps this game

McDonald supposedly is out for 7-10 days. If he sits out vs. Chiefs, Gray should get increased snaps.

I think they keep both and go with 4 TE's and the odd man out will be Brian Jennings. Jennings is one of the best at what he does but what he does is limited and if they have someone else who can long snap I would let him go.

Ridiculous. You want ridiculous.

While doing his pre-draft research, Baalke discovered that MarQueis Gray was the only one of the approximately 50,000 students who never used the campus tunnels or sky ways to get to class in the winter.

Baalke exclaimed, "This fool walks to class in the Minnesota winters without using the tunnels and sky ways. He has got to the toughest player in the draft!!!!"

And as they say folks, the rest is history.

well he caught one of the few nice passes in the game...came forward to the ball, went around the defender...and stood up with another defender trying to land a big hit...then it took about 4 KC players to bring him down.

I want to see him with Kaep out there dammit...hell I want to see all our receivers trying to fight for their careers out there with an adequate QB.

Yes. I like Gray. I think he can be a very good player if given time to develop
