This might be your last camp with the Niners. I hope your persistence will pay off this year. Good luck.

The team's other starting outside linebacker, Aldon Smith, also had a would-be 'sack' during the no-contact session. So did Lawrence Okoye, who has been playing right defensive end with the third-team defense and who chased down quarterback Dylan Thompson on a broken play.

Okoye got would-be sacks on back-to-back plays while working against first-year tackle Ben Gottchalk. He also put a nice move on Dillon Farrell to win a one-on-one pass-rush drill.

For the record, I'm pulling for this guy. Have been ever since we brought him in. With that said, our DL is crazy deep, he is going to have to earn on spot on ST. 2 sacks without pads against 3rd stringers does not an all pro make, it is better than him getting zero sacks however. Hope he gets alot of time in PS games and proves he is worth being on the 53.

Want to be optimistic, but it was with the 3rd string against training camp fodder without pads on.
Hoping to see similar reports midweek when he's with at least the 2nd Team and wearing pads. Then I'll be
