The Quinton Patton Tank of Truth

So this, the f**k was he thinking? You hit Patton he picks up a few yds and goes out of bounds and at least takes 8 secs off the clock and with 2 timeouts we can even pound the ball. Play action, the read option or a boot leg would've been great to run especially with the hawks aggressiveness

Could be true but Crabtree needed to make that play with a Mike Irvin pushoff

agree. poorly thrown ball too. Like u said, he's a gun slinger. It's the reason he makes some of the plays we love, but also the reason he makes some of the plays that kill us. Had he played it smart instead, #6.

lol patton is working as a DB in practice. Watch the coaches realize he is a great CB and they move him there and he becomes an ALL PRO haha. JK but weird. I know it is just as a scout teamer because a lot of the DBs are hurt. I remember Edelman (or some other NE patriot WR) played safety for one year.

I think it was Brown. He actually played good.
I wonder if gets activated since most likely Ellington wont play on Sunday

Most likely considering all the injuries. Hope he gets a few snaps too.
It would be cool if he could prove he doesn't suck.

He returned some punts in preseason, I'd like him to do that so we don't expose Hyde to that punishment. If we had a 3rd RB, then I'd be all for it. Also, I don't like having Cox out there either!
If anything, Patton will always have value as Kap's personal hype man. Look how focused he got Kap.
(49ers went 3 and out on the ensuing drive).

I don't know why this is funny to me
Patton is a smart man. If you're going to kiss ass, make sure it's the right person!
Soooooo, does he suit up on Sunday since the 49ers will be without Ellington? We actually do go five wide now.

I'd like to see it, though he prob is an emergency DB Troy Brown style...
