I think all the weight he put on last year threw him off his game.

This could work in the Niners' favour. If he gets very little playing time, he might accept a cheap contract extension in the offseason. Every team needs some cheap depth players.
Once he's 24 to 26, his core strength will probably have peaked. If it's strength he's lacking, that's not a terrible problem to have. I'd rather a young player lack strength than speed.
He had his chance but showed nothing. That's why Lynch got more time than him.

I had high hopes for him his rookie year. He looked like he had some potential. Last year, he looked pretty bad. Didn't show any type of pass rush moves

Pretty simple, he failed to devlop some new techniques to add to his pass rushing game and he found himself on the bench vs Lynch.
Straight ahead is not going to cut it every time. It literally sets the tackle up to push you to the outside which we saw all to often last ye

You don't think the reason why Lynch got more time is that he's a figgn' phenom? Not beating out Lynch is not exactly a knock on you as a player. Lynch almost as much pressure in 3 starts and limited snaps than most DEs did all year starting.

Well he's not going to show anything because he's still going to be sitting the bench. Chances are he will be competing against another rookie this year.

You mean for a roster spot?
2 OLBs would have to beat him out because Skuta's gone. 3 if they cut Brooks. That is, unless they sign another before the draft.

I doubt we cut Brooks. We can't bleed that many players this fast.
Aldon, Brooks, Lynch, Lemonhead, rookie.
He could easily be the 5th OLB on this squad..and who knows if we do keep 5.

Lemonier will be much improved year 3 this year. At worst at worst he could be a special teams Demon tackler.

Lemo needs to add a second move to his pass rushing repetoire. I can only remeber him trying to use a speed rush and constantly getting pushed past the QB.

JT said he was looking good in camp. He needs a good TC and preseason if he wants to see any playing time

I think the Lemon Man is pretty talented, or even may be as good as Parys Haralson, but the problem is they both belong and fit better to the 4-3 scheme.. They just aren't the type that can drop back into coverage enough and a natural OLB..
so I say, we send put this package together, Lemonier, Big Mac and 4th rounder for Jackonsville's 2nd round in next year's draft!!!

We will see how he looks with pads on, I can't much stock into him right now.
