What happened to him as the year went on? I know skuta was playing well but I didn't hear his name much after a promising start

Aldon came back and back to the bench rookie (or so it seemed).

kid got some valuable time and will only be better next year. last year we had haggans or higgins or whoever the f**k he was
Smart pick up.

He and Skuta were very good filling in at OLB.

Corey will be a big contributor next season.
Corey has a bright future, no doubt. He did get valuable reps last season, which will payoff from now on. He needs to add @ 10 lbs of muscle, which'll help him break through more often. He's also good insurance should Aldon get suspended for any length of time. Skuta probably deserves his own thread, but I'll give him major props. He's like an old-school player, just keeps after it in a hard-nosed way. Love that.

It was Haralson. We let Lawson walk that offseason.

you knew he would help out special teams but what a pleasant surprise they way he played backer for us. i still feel terrible he did not get the sack due to a poor call by the refs. he did more for us in one year then lawson did in his entire career for the team
Very excited about Lemonier and actually totally forgot about him until I saw this thread. Real bright future after what he showed in preseason and during Aldon's absence. Hope we can find some PT for him as a pure rusher.

Don't situationalize Lemonier. Or Skuta either for that matter. Dial in more blitzes for them, and put them out in base...it's all good. More important get a rotation going....get the chemistry going! SIt down one of our HoF ILB's once in a while!! Throw in lemonier for extra coverage -- or delay blitz up the gut!!! Be creative!! we may never have so many good players at LB again. Use the horses, rest the talent!

Seriously. Skuta was a welcome surprise. I thought he played very well in reserve and really helped fill the void while Aldon was in rehab.
Both Skuta and Wilhoite filled in beyond what I thought they could.
