I have a good feeling about this guy as he continues to work his way back into form - sounds like he's getting there in picking up the D scheme. How complex can the scheme be? This is a guy I was (and still am) really counting on to help pick up some of the pass-rushing slack left by Aldon's absence.

Let's just hope we don't have to wait til week 11 because by then Aldon will be back

Exactly. You rarely ever hear Dobbs' name called when he's in there - does he ever get pressure on the QB? I hate the fact that backups on the DL also have to be able to play ST...this is one of the reasons why Dobbs is in there over Tank (in addition to also playing in this D longer and knowing the scheme better). I HATE the 46-man roster limit for games! Move it to at least 50 - don't penalize the teams that draft well or otherwise evaluate talent well and pick up good players that other teams miss on.

No referring to why a guy cant even see the field when coaches have said a lot of positive things. If he sucks I would like to see him suck but hes not even on the field much like aj jenkins.

I think Dobbs largely has been playing due to his special teams role. He played more snaps on special teams than anyone else during the last game.

Pretty much. It's not like he's going to get burned long... especially on obvious passing downs. At the very least he'll be occupying blockers.

This. I want him in as bad as anyone but Fangio and Harbs like versatile players. Let's not plug one hole so we can create another? Hiss a$$ better step up and learn another position if he wants to beat out dobbs or help on special teams.

If Fred Dean, Charles Haley and Aldon Smith were smart enough to get on the field as sack specialists, and Carradine cannot after redshirting his rookie year, the guy must be extremely challenged. Quit worrying about your Chess pieces, Fangio! Get Tank's ass out there to sack the QB. Our secondary is getting shredded.
