Fangio says Eric Reid will start Week 1.

Dayum, that saids a lot about the confidence Fangio has in Reid to get the job done. But still, that's a rookie FS playing against Aaron Rodgers and his passing offense. They will go after Reid and Whitner in a big way.

If they have time to let the plays develop.

If he's better he's better. Fangio has to start the best player on the field, irrespective of whether or not he is a rookie. Is it likely that Reid will make some rookie mistakes this year? Sure, but starting an inferior player just because you fear some rookie mistakes will only make the team weaker.
Aaron Rogers gonna be burning his ass all day.

Yes, Aaron Rodgers will indeed be burning his ass, as in his OWN ass, because the DLine will be planting his ass on the ground all day.

Uhhhh... ARod is going to need more than 2 seconds to get the ball to his receivers. That's all he'd going to get with his ding'd up line vs. a healthy 49ers Defense.

Green Bay's offensive line is not very good though. So Rodgers is likely to deal with a lot of pressure. That should help the safeties.

This. I think we get atleast 3 or 4 sacks in the game.
Kaep did spot them 7pts, Justin and Aldon were hurt, and we still crushed them...
I don't know if I'm happy because Reid is starting or because Dahl is not

Here's one way the Packs can take advantage. They will try their new running game along with a lot of dink and dunk. Our CBs has the outside coverage, but anything going inside our safeties have to help out. Reid and Whitner creeping up to make those tackles on some short passing route to limit the run after the catch. They start feeling good, getting into a rhythm of bam bam on the receivers. Getting aggressive making another tackle for short gain. Then suddenly Rodgers goes deep behind the safety. It only takes a stutter step.

The Packers only need to make 2-3 of these a game for a potential 21pts. Luckily their defense so far is pretty bad, so if they have to play from behind in scores, they can't do these time consuming runs and dink & dunks. Might have to be one dimensional and deal with our buzzing pass rushers.

Sure, that's one way they can try to neutralize the pass rush and bring the safeties up. Actually I think Minnesota was pretty effective using a similar game plan against us. However, I do think that our middle LB's are really good at covering ground in that area. We'll see how the game plays out. And you're right, if they start falling behind, they'll need to scrap that plan altogether. Our offense definitely has to have a good game.
sus, you're trying too hard, brah. Looking like Barlow dancing behind the line.
