and to be fair, it was after two days of rookie camp. at least some posters waited a whole year before they declared jenkins a bust

Love Reid and the physicality he brings to the game.
I think its funny that people are harping on Reid for his 1 on 1 performance but in 7 on 7 and 11 on 11, seems like no one threw his way (0 targets according to the PD) So it would seem his coverage was good enough during actual game situations to deter QBs from throwing his way.

For the people who wanna read too much into everything, read into that.
Not that I don't think he might not turn out to be a good player, but I had an initial negative gut feeling about moving up for this pick. Just surmise it might have eliminated a better potential series of picks to follow. That said I agree that we should not read too much into his showing in this minicamp. I for one don't want to start justifying my initial gut feelings by allowing it to influence the objective evaluation of him as a player or any future perspective as to the level of development.

Speaking of Nate Montana, one thing we know for certain is he didn't come from the milk man. Dude looks so much like Joe it's scary. Too bad he doesn't play like him.
