4.53 40, better than most other safeties, combined with a 40.5 inch vertical and a 134 inch broad jump(most by any safety in Combine history). Terrific pickup by the 49ers.
I like the numbers but when when i watch some videos he seems to get burned deep a lot and seems out of place.
I'm no draft guy, so are those things that are worked out? Also, he only had 6 career ints, is that a concern?
Goldson only had 4 career INTs in college, and he developed nicely. I personally don't think Reid is a natural ball-hawking type of guy, more of a SS type who happens to play FS (like Goldson in that way). He'll be fine in the long run, but if he starts as a rookie, I'm not expecting "Ed Reed" production from him right out of the gate.
