Disagree! Surprised? I don't think the window is closing as in "oh no" we won't ever be good again." But we have a team that went to the championship game, then the super bowl. Definitely raised expectations! I think Kaepernick is capable of being that good this year. He still won't be perfect but he has so much talent that even at 80-90% of his eventual talent ceiling, he is THAT good.
