What about dudes calling me out every time I predict incorrectly? It works both ways. I didn't break a rule. Asking someone to look at specific play to defend my point that the QB can make a certain throw work is not inciting. Inciting is posting a JTO reference for no reason and no comparison. But that's okay because it was ANY QB not named Alex Smith.
Agn, I didn't break a rule if we want to be equal here. So ripping me for fun must be just fine?
We all know that his post would just lead to one or more posts that blow up into an Alex Smith argument. Someone will post plays that refute what JC said, he and others may chime in/rebut, and on and on it goes. Ferocious interactions would result, mudslinging would ensue. That's what the mods want to avoid.
JC in a nutshell wants to say we've upgraded at QB. We have. However, instead of just mentioning the superior physical ability (arm strength, scrambling/speed, special ability to throw rolling left), he opted to pick particular plays that he perceives as specific examples.
The problem? They're highly debatable plays. When it's obviously a matter of opinion on those ones, it's unnecessary to let it escalate and blow up into something when it can be avoided altogether.
I see it from both sides, but 100% agree with what the mods are doing.
