Agreed! You can't keep an afro like that down for long!

I'm hoping this is correct and believe it might be.

With a name like Looney the odds are stacked in his favour!

Gut feeling says this is the truth. Looney will go into TC and just kill it at center.

His last name is an onomatopoeia

I wouldn't be mad at this happening.

I'm with Goodwin, at least until Frank retires. Having a guy named Kilgore blocking for a running back named Gore is just bad juju.

hahaha no we do not need that!

Doesn't Baas have SB ring?

Goodwin is better bthan David Baas.

IMO, Goody will be here for his last season and our center will be either Looney or Kilgore. AND we won't draft a C/G in the 3rd.
Looney and Kilgore are expected to step up. I like them both. Can't discount the possibility of Goodwin taking a paycut to stay on further.

That would be the perfect scenario, allowing the two young guys to develop for another year. If Harbaugh does not think they are center material though I would expect a high-mid round pick of a center.
I would'nt be shocked if they select barret Jones from Alabama with pick n°61, who could Play all 5 positions on the line and make him the starting center as a rookie (and allow them to release goodwin)

I'm fairly confident Barrett Jones doesn't make it past the 1st round. Someone will pick him up.
