Really? Wow! I like the signing even more now.

seems like every player that comes here spits out that cliche

5 SBs in the 80s and 90s and I think 17 consecutive 10+ win season will do that.
banwagon

Banwagon or Bandwagon?

it's Banwagon

unless you want the D

ohh

Think about his age. It's not surprising that he was a 9er fan as a kid as that was in the glory days.

Not to mention Jerry was probably his idol, just like Montana was alot of QB's idol.
Half the players in the NFL were 49ers fans growing up. Most of the elite QBs were 9er fans. Kap lies and says he was a 49er fan but he was a fudge Packer fan.

As a kid he wrote an essay saying he wanted to play for the 49ers or Packers when he grew up. So he liked the 49ers (bandwagoner), but he probably liked the Packers more. He's a Brewers and Bucks fan.

I think Boldin was a QB before he was a WR in college.

I hope not, after T.O. left it seemed like whoever had that number was cursed.

Well is the key word there not great or elite. Rashaun Woods and Braylon Edwards were complete busts with that number.

The number wasn't the problem...
Not cursed...didn't Antonio Bryant wear #81? Except for his pants falling down, he put up good #s wearing that jersey number before getting hurt. Then, we gave up on him too easily after an off-field incident and he did well with TB the following year.
