Percy Harvin>>> Anquan Boldin even though Harvin is hurt a lot. However, we gave up a whole lot less to get Boldin

‏per @adbrandt
49ers have to carry Alex Smith contract for one day to allow for trade, then can delete and take on Boldin salary.

I wonder if we are going to draft a WR high this year or FS. Should be interesting.

One year rental in my eyes. Good rental. He has beyond lost a step and I don't see them extending him beyond the up coming season. But should be a quality starter.

$6 million in cap space
Better spent than Harvin, imo. No drama. Pro. And as a former Card, we know he'll want to prove himself.

I may be the only person that doesnt like this trade
If Boldin is making 6 mil i would have rather paid the extra 2mil and kept Goldson
In Harbaugh i trust though

per ESPN...
The Ravens had reportedly asked Boldin to take a pay cut to help the team with its salary-cap situation. Boldin is scheduled to earn $6 million in the coming season. He carries a $7.531 million salary-cap figure.

I would give up the 1st for Cruz now. He would go crazy in the slot.

Not going to happen. That's why we only had to give a 6th rounder. Manningham will be cut, I bet.

Boldin and Fitz worked pretty damn well for AZ and they had no running game...
Crabtree and Boldin with VD as a deep threat in 2 sets and Manningham in 3 sets?
Nice. I like the Manningham match up vs team's #3 cb.

Good trade for both teams b/c the Ravens were just gonna cut him. they couldn't afford to pay him 6 mil. Getting a 6th is better than nothing
