NaVorro Bowman is THE MAN!

I don't think he is agreeing with the conspiracy idea AT ALL, he is pissed at the stupid overreaction by some Niner fans to a loss. I am embarrassed just as much as he is--move on and get ready for next year.

Read it over and over and now I believe it is the exact opposite of what you are saying. He says "if what I'm seeing on this clip is true will really make me reconsider". Pretty easy to understand that part.

Agreed...nobody would feel more slighted than a player who's busted his azz (legitimately) for 3 straight seasons now only to have the end results be decided on critical calls at critical moments in every single game (plus the Saint's game). You don't think that stings more with the players themselves?

Bowman HAS to be ambiguous here naturally, otherwise this story would blow up on NFLN and SC but...you can read between the lines. And these players know this stuff happens esp. by the time they get to the professional level (PED propositions, betting, pay-offs, etc.).

Like Harbaugh's comments in the media re: roid-use in Seattle; you don't think we ALL know they are roided out over there (they're damn motto is BIGGER-FASTER-STRONGER-LOUDER). Helloooooo...but we hear you Harbaugh, we hear you LOUD and clear!

This is how I interpret it. Though I agree it could go either way.

That's pretty powerful!
Nice wok LoneWolf: I have a slightly different take...

navorro_bowman: With this knee injury I still can't get over this loss and if what I'm seeing on this (conspiracy video of the NFCCG) clip is true (and the NFL really is legally swaying games for competitive matchups, drama and $) it will really make me reconsider (the integrity of the NFL). I mean come on #faithful, my leg is broke (and this is adding insult to injury right now; not great timing). We as players and coaches work too hard to play and be apart of the game of football (and who wants to believe this game is tainted after all we put into it?). The words, "Dedicated and Commited" (define what it is to be part of) the 49ers and this (loss, my knee injury and the possibility that the NFL is tainted) hurts.

I don't know why a fan would send that to an injured player either. Last thing he needs to hear with what he must go through to play again. It was a well contested game by both teams and yes we got shafted on some major calls but we can't conclude the game was fixed. There are a lot of calls that might sway one's opinion that way but there is no paper trail or any whistleblower present to make such a grandiose statement! I think the video author would have been better served to just chronicle all of the horrible officiating that game and then allow the viewer to form his/her own opinion. That way the maker could retain as much credibility as possible. Stating and unknown as truth was the wrong way to appear credible. The most credible thing would have been to show the plays and the clock and the call and state the rules and then you allow people to digest it. Right now Bowman needs to believe that the work he is putting into this game will eventually pay off. He needs to know that the just are eventually rewarded

I agree! Well stated. The author has a keen eye but his approach was wrong.

As one writer speculated, the combination of Bowman's injury and Willis' age may lead the 49ers to spend a mid-round (one of the 3rds) on an inside linebacker. The way this defense is built, that position is critical. It would be great if Moody turned out to be the guy but if a value is there at 3 or 4, I would not be surprised to see a LB.

I didn't know that Willis was "old." He's entering year 8. Not to mention, we have some pretty fair inside linebackers behind Bowman and Willis. Even before Wilhoite we had Larry Grant. I don't think we have to go that high for an inside linebacker.

Imo hes saying either that or he believes the video himself. I would tend to think thay he thinks 49ers fans are nuts for claiming that.

The creator of the video is NOT a 49ers fan, so it isn't just 49ers fans being nuts. Creator states (in the comments section of the video) that they are not Seattle nor SF fans.

Yes but the comments section of the youtube video has been flooded with 49ers fans who 100% believe the whole conspiracy theory behind it. That what I meant.

I think the guy who posted the Niner/Seahawk video to Youtube under "NFL is Rigged" might actually be Heath Hunt on Youtube, under a new psuedonymn. He has posted a 4 part series on the NFL being rigged, here is the link to Part 1:

Just in looking at the way the two use images and cut frames with text, it seems very similar, but just a hunch on my part...
I hate that Bow had to see this while he is laboring back from an injury, but a side of me was glad to see his reaction. It shows that even someone who plays the game, that is around execs, gm's, and owners all the time has doubts about the integrity of the game. Me personally I think we have just been the unlucky beneficiary's of bad calls that were honest mistakes from the refs. In saying that I still believe there is a 10-20% chance that refs have their pockets lined from time to time. Players juice all the time, Coach's record other teams private practices and encourage players to intentionally try to injure guys, hell even GM's have been caught in dirt, Mickey Loomis had a recording device in the visiting teams sky box. I'm not trying to take anything away from Seattle or any other team that has beat us but if watching that video does not at least peak your interest then I don't know what to say. At the end of the day everyone has a price.
I don't even think you be be this unlucky for this long, the past 2 years refs have made some really bs questionable calls against us during the most crucial times and biggest games. I swear it seems like the NFL is against us

This is why I think Goodell is already picking the Panthers to win next year (the Panthers hype is already flooding across NFL.com/NFLN), it's gonna be a cinematic revenge game against the 49ers at Santa Clara; jobbed again.

Apparently America was so hardcore for having a nail-biter like Broncos-Hawks, now they're gonna get Cam vs Luck, battle of the MILLENNIALS!!! Who cares if it's a great game, the hype sells itself!

Honestly if Goodell had banned teams from refusing to sell tickets to certain states, he would habe made much more money for the nfccg, cuz at least that game kept people watching through the whole thing. AFCCG boring, Super Bowl change the channel after the 1st quarter. Hell move the Hawks back to the AFC thats a super bowl the world would watch!
