Maybe ask themselves if they would try to convince NB that it would be better for the team if they would have lost today
Yeah, I felt the same even after we lost last week to AZ. Some people were happy because of better draft positioning, but learning how to win is very important. I'm not a moral victory guy, but the fact they played a competitive game against a very good Cards team helped them this week. I'm not surprised at all we got our first road win of the year after losing last week in heart-breaking fashion. Those are still character builders. Bowman alluded to the same thing, even in a loss, it was a step in the right direction. There's nothing like winning.

Bowman is playing up and down this year. Showing his old play, but at the same time some hesitant plays. I think next year he will be fully healthy mentally and physically. At least we know his career is not over and he can still be the player he once was.

Yeah, he's still not moving laterally like he used to, but it's great to see him improving as the year goes on. He's still a damn good run defender, currently at his best playing downhill. I frequently hear with this injury it takes 2 years before he truly feels 100%. We'll see how he looks next year.

I am as down on our current coaching situation as anybody. But finishing as a 3-4 win team to get him out and improve our draft status is a double edged sword because it would mean that our current roster of young players isn't developing and we are further away from winning than a top five pick in next years draft anyway. Regardless of where we pick in 2016 that player is no more guaranteed to be a star then the player chosen 15 spots after him...25 spots after him.
If we string together a nice little set of victories here at the end then Tomsula or no Tomsula at least it means that this young roster that we all hoped would shock the NFL this year is finally coming together and we are that much closer to competing again.

I thought Bow played a great game.
I don't know how many of you watched the miced up, but Ward can thank Bowman for that pick 6.
Right before the play started Bow crept up to the line and showed blitz, Culter recognized this and called for an audible. Bow then backed off and yelled "SCREEN" and pointed to the WR to Cutler's right.
Cutler hikes the ball, Ward blitzes the WR Bow pointed to and the rest is history.
His body may show signs of hesitation and injury, but he is still the same Bowman.

Gase should give Cutler something else as an audible. Tendency to go to a WR screen by Chicago got Bowman seeing it on film, calling it out, pick 6.

Nobody is more deserving. And here's to him stronger and back to dominance next season.

He'll be too busy playing in the super bowl to go to Hawaii anyway.

I remember he had character concerns but I'm not sure if there was anything else.

Didn't even start for us. Sat on the bench for a year IIRC. Had to learn and grow from Willis and Neck.
