His knee will probably never feel "right." Ligaments are never as stong as the ones god gave you once damaged. But that doesn't mean it isn't healed.
And That doesn't mean he can't play at a high level. Its more of a mental barrier he has to overcome.

Well this isn't great news.
"The brace is more than a mere precaution. It's vital, because the knee hasn't fully recovered yet. "I go out there some days and I feel great, and some days I have to fight through it," Bowman said. "That's part of the process. I understand that. But, mentally, it messes with me sometimes."
If the regular season started this weekend, Bowman probably couldn't play. Luckily for him, he has three months to strengthen his knee gradually."

Seems like a lot of over reacting to me...he is mostly just complaining that he cant play full speed with the brace and it isn't ready to go without one yet. Hardly " he is done territory".

I'm sure 49 didn't talk too much about it because most guys like that won't talk about it as much as they'll be about it come time to play. He probably just said what's up to Bo then showed him some love about how he puts it down on the field and had worked to bounce back from injury and let him be. At least that's how I would have played it because these guys are people too and they don't like being crowded if at all possible. If you get much more than that from a player consider yourself extremely lucky

Whats funny that day was that we ran into Boone at our breakfast spot (Mikaylas near the stadium). He was wearing socks that had Crabtree on them
