No homers here. I was at game so didn't have as great a view as those who watched on TV.
Were the refs really that bad? Was Seattle getting away with lots of penalties?
The one I clearly saw was the hold on Whitner on Lynch's first TD. Also heard RJF was held as well.
It didn't cost us the game, just wondering.

If you call bear hugging Aldon Smith legal then I would say no, the refs did a fine job calling their game for their team.
Also if you call Richard Sherman making a play on Crabtrees arms instead of the ball legal then no, the refs did a fine job calling their game for their team.
I thought replacement refs went home already.

No, I get so tired of hearing about people complain about officiating. How insane is it to think the refs are always conspiring against your team?

The game wasn't competitive, so it is hard to blame the refs. The Niners simply got blown out. It happens in the NFL even to good teams

Lol they didn't have to much bearing on the outcome the niners lost it themselves. But you are crazy if you think they weren't bad, they were like nba refs, intimidated by the home crowd. It was bad, really bad.

Ya, not saying they lost the game for us but kept it from being a little more competitive.

Seattle holds a lot. Their defense relies on it. Coaches have been complaining about it all season. I think Harbaugh brought it up after the first game too. It's smart defense really. They hold RBs and prevent them from sliding out out the backfield for a dump off. Their CBs are extremely physical. They tie WRs up at the LOS and are very smart about interfering/distracting WRs without get called for PI.
It's frustrating to watch, but they are well coached. Their offense is just outclassing people too. They always have guys getting free. Their coaching staff is just two steps ahead of everyone else right now. I HATE seeing Carroll gloating and smacking his gum, but he deserves a ton of credit for turning that team around.

Hell YES! And people who say otherwise don't wanna be called a Homer! They showed Okung hold on 3 straight plays, Collinsworth said "there's a bit of a grab" on each highlight! Well, you know what....THAT's HOLDING!

Sorry but people are blind if they didn't see the holding calls, 4 on the first TD by Lynch. I counted 17 no holding calls and 7 by the 49ers, it was one of the sloppiest reffed games Ive seen this season the sloppiest being the Seamonkey Packer game

Word! Refs were cheatin for those fruits the whole game. Pete Carroll was blowin the refs again for Christmas. No holding calls whatsoever which you can see BLATANTLY on every snap. On the marshawn replay it was CLEARLY a hold on Ricky jean. Aldon got molested. They don't call nothin on the seacocks (yeah I said it) just like the last game we played. No pi on moss in the end zone. No pi on any other receivers. Punk ass collinsworth even said this is pi but they do it so well that they don't call it. Like wtf?? And what was up with that bulls*it call when Goldson and culliver got flagged for an ILLEGAL TACKLE?? What the hell is an illegal tackle?? I've never heard of an illegal tackle.

They do every game, that's their defense. Their corners do illegal contact (pushing/bumping WR after 5 years after the line of scrimmage) and get away with it all game, week after week. The refs might call it once or twice a ame but they won't call it ALL game. Pretty dumb

Absolutely. On the first TD run alone there were three holds. Francois, Whitner, and Smith.
Also, the holding by their DBs is ridiculous.
You can't measure how much effect this type of imbalance has on the outcome of a game.
I also feel like Seattle gets away with a lot of chippy BS in the niner games and the niners get called for it.
