Next player you want to see signed to an extension

After 2013, My Priority List.

1- Anquan Boldin
2- Mario Manningham
3- Michael Wilhoite
4- Phil Dawson
5- Eric Wright
6- Kassim Osgood (Either 1 or 2 yr deal)

Small chance Donte Whitner re-signs, wouldn't mind it.

Players eligible after 2013.

1- Aldon Smith
2- Bruce Miller
3- Kendall Hunter
4- Chris Culliver (Likely waits on this one)

After 2014.

1- Michael Crabtree
2- Colin Kaepernick (Sooner If he starts playing like he can and should)
3- Mike Iupati
4- CJ Spillman (Would like something soon, need to lock him long term as a ST standout)
5- Dan Skuta
6- Glenn Dorsey

I wouldn't mind seeing Skuta and/or Dorsey signed this offseason to extensions, and lower their base salaries, even if it's a small savings, worth it IMO.

I think it will come down to Iupati or Crabs, we may be able to extend one, and tag the other.

Others who need extensions eventually.

Vernon Davis
Patrick Willis
Joe Staley
Ray McDonald
Eric Reid

Later after 2016

Corey Lemonier
Tank Carradine
Quinton Dial
Marcus Lattimore
Quinton Patton

All depends on how they play in the future.

Not sure if serious?

He just inked an extension that puts him in the 9er for life range of a contract that runs through 2019

This may sound crazy but the way things are currently going I would let Kap test the free agent market if he does not want to accept a mid-level deal. Right now he isn't even playing at a middle of the pack level, so giving him a mid-level deal would be over paying.

If he's worth signing they will, if not, they won't. Quarterbacks are never really able to test the free agent market because they either get signed to long term deals by the team they're on or they're backups. Not much in between.
On offense Boldin and Miller

On defense Aldon and Cully
