Did they cave?
If so then it's a very bad move.
IMO.

does this mean more holdouts in the offseason

Eff him. Make him earn that RG spot...in fact, move his ass to LG and prove he can beat out Iupati AND learn how to pull. I knew there was a reason why we only had 2 G's on the 53...sneaky suspicion.

CRAP!!! Way to fold Baalke.....This team is going into the crapper. I think the Harbs and Co have been the beneficiaries of a very talented core that had nothing to do with them. They took over a very talented, but under coached team. Doesn't look like they can keep it together. I should sell my season tickets.
Ok. First and last over reaction post of the day....but I'm bummed about folding to Boone.

49ers said they do not negotiate with players who don't report. He is reporting

Very cool, at least now we know that we have a really good backup in Looney. Now keep the good news rolling with the announcement of Crabtree being extended.

He probably knew his leverage was shot and came back on what we originally offered. We don't do dumb deals

Wouldn't be surprised to see Looney move to center.

looks more like a wink-wink:
come back and then we will work a deal.
additionally you would have to look at if he is held to the fines or if they are waived.
either way its a magic touch on a team that just needs some good news. i wouldn't worry so much about precedent setting from a FO as strong as this.
