Is Everyone Insane?

Colin had one good game, yes. From all accounts, the Bears didn't game plan for an all-out passing attack and didn't disguise their coverages or make any significant changes in the second half. So suddenly everyone is talking about releasing Alex? Lest we forget, Colin almost fumbled the ball a couple times and couldn't drive the ball from the middle of the field against the Rams. We haven't seen how he will fare against a team that is ready for him. He is still raw. The pass blocking was incredible, and he had all day to pass. He looked confused as hell against the Rams, holding the ball forever before taking drive-killing sacks. Colin Kaepernick is not the answer this late in the season. When he goes up against a good defense in the playoffs, how would everyone feel if he threw 4 picks and ended our playoff hopes because of his reckless quarterbacking?
That ish cray.
Yes, everyone is insane. They all want to start the same thread.
.....he does well in his first ever start against a defense that is 2nd to none but ours.

Did you ever consider the fact that he didn't play as well against the Rams because he wasn't prepared to play in that game?

And how the hell was our game plan against the Bears an 'all-out passing attack'? Colin threw the ball 23 times...hardly what I would call a heavy air game.

And think about how GOOD it is for this offense and team as a whole if teams actually game plan for him. It is because he is one of those QBs that you have to prepare for....if they focus on coverage and preventing the deep ball Frank, Hunter, and Crabtree will have field days. Think about that.
He looked confused as hell against the Rams putting us in position to win twice only to be let down by the defense and Akers...

You're totally right.

Alex isn't going anywhere but the bench. I trust Harbaugh don't you?
colin looks confused vs rams

smith looks confused vs nfl for 7 years

start smith not colin
I like the thought of an NFL Defense, check that the #2 NFL Defense not being prepared for a Monday Night Football game against their primary competition for the 2nd playoff spot.

These are professionals at their job, they may have been cocky but its ignorant to think they were unprepared.
