Old adage in Football

The lines win you the game.

Finally our OLINE and DLINE showed up.

There is a common denominator in all of those completion.

The OLine did its job. NOBODY was even close to CK. Kudos to the Oline.

The Dline finally shows up after being absent for the last few games.

I was in the Rams game and believe me they were getting blown away.
Lets not forget CK also played most of that game last week. The OLine did not play well.

What happens when OLine shows up - better running game and better passing, WR have time to get open (unlike last week).

DLine actually stopped the other side on 3rd down plays (again unlike last week)

Great job CK for playing on fire!

There was an analyst that got it right this week. If Alex plays Bears will not blitz much because he said that teams don't like blitzing Alex because he reads blitzes well. If CK plays then the Bears will blitz and be closer to the line. That did happen but our OLINE took care of those blitzes and CK completed the passes. Oline did not let anybody get near CK except for a couple of times.

Great all around win.

Go Niners!
They did great, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. The bears have one of the most pourous lines in the NFL, that is why cutler is out and Cambell got his bell rung-remember Chilo, well if you have him on your starting o-line, that means you don't have much talent.

Also, the o-line got help from CK, several times when he got outside the pocket and and either threw the ball away or just missed, other ordinary QBs would have been caught and dragged down. He did get sack, but he did what I want our QB to do, run and either throw the ball away or if something is there, try and make a play, not take a sack.
Definitely more impressed with the Niners offensive line than the Niners Defensive line, simply because of the level of competition each faced. But great to see a game where both dominated after a lackluster effort by both last week.

Jekyl and Hyde. Last week St Louis won the LOS. Tonight it was the 49ers. Of course the Bear OL has been bad most of the season. It is surprising Cutler has lasted as long as he has.

agree

Please let our OLine and Dline show up next week!
Games are won in the trenches...
Hopefully this is a pivot game and both DLine & Oline show up every game,
