Thank you based Gore. Besides the bills game I haven't been overly impressed with the O.

Other than the NYJ and Seattle game, I haven't been impressed with our D. ST have been less than inspiring this year. Thank heavens the offense is so much better.

yeah our defense is only ranked #1 in yards allowed and #2 in points allowed...not impressed at all

I agree! Only number one! What's with that? We were number one last year for a while...stagnant! That's what it is. Humor is in the eye of the beholder...SF Giants are wining third game in a row...perhaps I'm a bit exuberant?

What's wrong with the d? They give up the same ppg they did last year (14.3), allow the least amount of yards per game, least amount of passing yards per game and still allow less than 100 yards on the ground. I'll agree with you on ST though.

Sorry, just being subversive!! The D is wonderful, the ST (though not up to last year) is doing fine, and the offense is much better than last year. They do not need the short field and are producing enough to win most games.

I'll stop posting for a while as the SF Giants lead is making me so happy my posting is being affected!

But seriously you would think that dips**t Florio would have looked that up before he wrote that nonsense.

The Buffalo game really inflated the numbers offensively. I think as the year goes on, the numbers will be much closer to the numbers shown last year.

I still remember a time when posting a Pro Football Talk link got you ripped because it "wasn't a legitimate site" Guess some people still have a problem with him.

In Mike Florio's latest column, the biased anti-49er yellow journalist says, "The 49ers' offense doesn't seem to be much better (than last year)".

As Bugs Bunny would say, What a Maroon! Anyone who suggests the 49ers offense is no better than it was last year is either not paying attention or is incapable of writing anything positive about this Super Bowl-bound team. The 2011 49ers never has a two-game streak in which they outscored their opponents 79-3.

Florio should get a job bussing tables at a McDonald's. He would probably do that job better than the job of a sports writer.

This is a very biased and misleading post. If you read his article he compliments the 49ers defense and states that they are likely to go to the Super Bowl. So idk where you think he hates the Niners
Actually, he reluctantly writes that they will probably go to the SB, but he still regards the team in its most negative light, no matter what the team does. I think it accurate to characterize Florio as a 49er hater.

The 49ers are better. Look at the stats. 3rd down conversions. Offensive yards per games. So on and so forth.
