Media attention

This is the first time in a WHILE that the Niners are getting more media coverage than the Steelers and Cowboys. It feels so good. Have you guys noticed this? How you guys feel about it?

It's my fourth one today.

I'm just contributing to the board.
Don't get too excited. It's only because we're playing NY

And New York is pre-emptively whining and making excuses
It's because we're much better than both those teams...
Ap So Loot Lee !!!!!!!!!!!! To be FEARED every week by opposing teams ! AWESOME . Defense , and now finally our Offense. LETS GO NINERS !
Good.

Howie Long has been giving us props for the last 2 seasons.

This is a big game for everyone.
The media attention is more for the Giants than for us.
f*ck em
We win and all the headlines will be about what's wrong with the giants.

Those were the headlines when we destroyed the Jets. "What's wrong with the Jets? Is it Teebow time?" Now it's gonna be, "Are the Superbowl champs in trouble? Will they make the playoffs? Should they bring Strahan out of retirement? Should they stop putting mustards in the corn-dogs at Met Life stadium?"

Stephen A. Smith is a moron.

"Frank Gore can ball - Alex Smith isn't playing like a scrub"...

wow
Generally I have been disappointed with the media coverage in general of our team this year. Yeah this week the Giants are boosting our visibility but here we are rolling, yet seconds are spent discussing us versus minutes for other teams (or hours for New York teams). And yeah SFTifoso is right, if we destroyed the Giants, the focus would be on what is wrong with them, not what is right with us. Now at least this year we are getting love as people pick us or talk us up, but its like "San Fran best team in the league? Probably. Now lets move on to the Saints latest loss and how Drew Brees feels about it." Heck even when we were the Sunday night game, here was their coverage team on our field after a big win and they were like "yup, awesome. Now how about Eli Mannings day?" In the years past there was no shortage of highlights of us getting whipped from pillar to post. Now that we are doing the whuppin, is it too much to ask that the media cover it?
