Like another poster said: You've got to be fist f***ing me!! I was anticipating STL at the earliest but what do I know. I still think we need a guy to stretch the field more though but maybe Crabtree and Mario can at least divert more attention away from VD and Boldin so that they can do what they do

I just don't feel comfortable bringing him back Monday. Let him start at home against STL. He's been a Ram killer.

Man, if he's being cleared for Monday, he'll probably just play 3rd down exclusively, it's clear now, we want his ass ready for the CAWKS.

That's what it seems like to me. IF they play him Monday, they probably won't ask him to do much, probably just shake off the rust to he's ready for the Seahawks and (maybe) the playoffs. Not sure how I feel about that, hope he's actually ready and they're not just rushing him to bail the offense out.

I don't think they would do that. I think they are confident in the surgery as they have said since day one and the rehab efforts of Crabtree and his bodies response. He is after all a hardworking athlete nearing his athletic prime and he has pushed to be ready. We will find out soon if both he and the team are right. He is a prototypical WR with the requisite skill to be a factor and his game is not predicated on deep speed but on short area quickness toughness in traffic and physicality through contact. I don't know how quick he can be right now but the other 2 things I am confident in and we know that he is clutch. Defenses will have to account for him and he should help both Kap and Roman out

Yeah, I hope so. The archilles is no joke - it's pretty miraculous that he's even coming back and so soon. If he actually is ready and can make somewhat of a difference even if he's not 100% himself yet, just shows what a hard worker he is. And I like that.

Another thing I like about Crabtree (3:25):
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g9Wa9m2srho
[3:25] "
If you (Kap) miss me for another touchdown, I'm gonna choke you out, WIDE OPEN!"
Colorful language aside, I love how Crabs goes out of his way to get in Kap's face and checks him when he f**ks up. Kap could use an extra push and Crab will give him that. Great work Crab!
Don't change
!

Honestly, does anyone expect more than 3 or more passes to Crabtree and Manningham (Boldin and his usual average of 4) a game? Seriously.

They can average five each.

He doesn't have to catch a pass to make a difference.
With him on the field with Boldin they are less likely to double either guy.

Marvin (sorry, my quote isn't working). You may be right that his running the decoy (esp. this AR offense) could be very helpful. That said, I don't anticipate any defense doubling him or rolling coverages to him right out of the gate d/t the injury. He'll have to prove otherwise...scheme him the AR a few times to get the defense "thinking" about him at least. That said, like with Manningham, I don't expect more than a few crumbs a game for the rest of the year. It may mean though, that teams like the Saints (d/t our formations and film study) may have to actually play more than 3 DB's.
