his shoulder will still be a liability IMO next week...not worried

Gore who is a north/south runner, Hunter who is a side to side, and Jacobs who will jam it down your throat. We lost in AZ last year because we had a Vikings-like game. Hopefully we won't have another one.

I was watching bits and pieces of the AZ/Miami game. I think AZ's defense is more built to stop the run. They limited Miami to about 80 yards on the ground but Tannahill put up 431 through the air. AZ will be focused on the niner run game for sure so this will be a game Alex will need to create off play-action. I think our defense will be ready for this game, but the offense will need to help the defense.
so we will probably lose that game then

I would be more worried about the Seattle game the following week if we have a big emotional win against the Giants.

I wanna be 6-1 going into AZ (who might have the same record) and then I want the Niners to put an epic, curbstomping BEAT-DOWN on the Tards and send them in a tailspin for the rest of the season (the same thing happened in 1995 when the Niners went into a cocky 5-1 St Louis Rams game and beat them so bad physically and psychologically they never recovered for the rest of the season...yes it was the Ken Norton Jr goalpost punching-bag game)

I watched Miami rush the ball effectively against Arizona's supposedly top notch run defense. I was not that impressed. I suppose a big reason would be that Darnell Dockett was out. Reggie Bush and the rookie were if finding plenty of holes and busting off 6 to10 yard rushes with regularity. If Miami can run like that, imagine what we can do one we get a full stable of backs including Brandon Jacobs. We'll be scary.

Prob lose to the Giants. Both defenses cancel each other out; but Eli is a better QB than Alex. It'll be close, but I think Giants win it. 6-2.
