Anthony Davis shut out Matthews in his rookie year. He knew Matthews was going to use his trademark spin move and was ready for him that day. I saw Matthews overpower Staley rather than beat him with a quick first step in game 1.
I re watched the game for any Clay v AD matchups this year. . Mathews was at ILB on two plays. One he came around the right side on a twisting blitz. The line played it nice but that was it.
