When you have to convince people that you are unbiased by putting "objective" in your name, you are probably full of s**t. Yup.

It takes a cool, rational head to explain to the slappies in here the Alex Smith is unlikely to throw for 300+. I know you like your team and all, but this isn't Madden.

passing yards is all you talk about dude. Its about wins. Wins dude. wins.

Why is that hard to understand. I tell you what, if Alex Smith throws for 225 yards today and we win, I will be happy. Get a new routine dude.

only dude that stood out on the lions D was #54, didn't learn his name doe lol
the best players on the Lions Defense was the fingertips of Walker, Miller, Gore, Crabtree, etc...

ALL DEM DROPS!
I know that many scoff at this source, but I really found this particular article to be worthwhile.

You know, honestly, I don't know if there was a single thing I disagreed with. Well done. Well done author.

Was interested in seeing the comments on Iupati as I had a similar take during the game. Not having re-watched the game I assumed it was just a couple of times I observed him flaking out but evidently not. Good article and I'm not sure he gave the CBs enough credit! They had amazing coverage most of the game.

This. I feel like all of our CBs played an amazing game. Brown comes to mind for the sure fact that I can't remember his name being mentioned once

Yeah, kudos all around. Inside LBers & CB's were playing VERY physical up at the LOS, CB's had fantastic coverage all night esp. re: breaking up passes, Brooks was even covering Megatron underneath (new wrinkle), knocked down passes/PD's on 3rd downs, etc. Coverage across the board was great.

My favorite quote from that article:

"Overall, I thought it was one of the three or four best games Smith has ever played, though the stats won't necessarily reflect that. If he plays at this level consistently, it will be literally impossible to beat the Niners."

Agreed... he looked elite in the pocket. I mean that too, literally elite.
