Bowman is more agile than Willis. It was a situational sub.

Agreed, and about almost as good against the run, but the packers werent going to do that... He's also an inch shorter than willis about 2 pounds heavier

we won and willis and bowman are like bros. I'm cool wit it but it is gonna be pricey to keep bowman unless we sign him this offseason. we hit on that pick for sho tho

Franchise him. They remind of me BY and Stubby. Keep them together.

Yeah, but Maiocco keeps saying "The 49ers can't afford to keep both", And yet says the 49ers redid Willis' deal for Future Cap room, so makes no sense. It will be possible.

They were also subbing Brooks out for Aldon Smith until the very end of the game where he dominated, fresh. I like it better when both Brooks/Smith are on the field at the same time.
As to Bowman, Willis looked to be struggling (from memory) with coverage and Bowman really stepped up (obviously).

Don't look too much into it. Bowman is better in coverage and the match ups dictated this. Bowman is a pro bowl level LB, so it's a pro bowler for pro bowler trade off. Great problem to have.

How do you guys know Willis is not hurt? Harbaugh is pretty secretive about this stuff.
