people way overreacted after one pre season game but tolzien is not nate davis 2.0... he and josh johnson are legit backups (#3s, especially) tolizen was a leader out there this pre season, great in pocket, good enough arm strength, accuracy... (high a few times), really had command of the guys out there even though he didn't produce a lot he had a lot of drops.... johnson has everything but needs to work on his accuracy on the long ball and in general.. both guys will be in the nfl for awhile and if they aren't it's a shame because there are very few good backups in this league

Tolzien is good as gone my friends. I think tonight was JJ's time to shine and that he did. Good game all around for 49er qb's havent been able to say that in a long time. I may just start posting again.

dang scott tolzien is gonna get cut. jj is the going to make the team.
the guy can't throw for deep to save his life but he can throw the intermediate routes/run.
