Originally posted by cools:rock is a lock. the niner draft class is looking sub par. two linebackers hurt, the safety may get cut, looney better produce but he has a broken foot. However unlike some, i think the first two guys will do some decent things on offense this year and will do some major things next year
Good format, nice and clean, well thought out
though I disagree on a few spots
Looney was a fourth rnd pick that we traded up for, He will be snagged if he hits waivers
Niners will protect him
Person is one of the only backups that can play OT, Im pretty sure they keep him
I understand your reasoning of moving Boone outside if an OT gets hurt, but you gotta have a little more depth then that
Beeler and Slowey should find themselves on to the PS easy, I think Hall may get on there too as a project OT
Im still undecided about guys like C.Jones, Cartwrignt and Reuland

Cartwright is making this team, Looney makes it, they traded up for him, I doubt they cut him and he passes waivers. I think they go with 3 OLBs since Dobbs can play rush DE/OLB if needed.

Exactly. I have him as a lock. I don't see many open spots, which is great, we are deep with depth, can't wait for 4 pm est/ 1 pm pst for Denver game, I wan to see better offensive play from 1st team offense. And no injuries please.
It is great to see you back by the way cc. Missed you around here, always one of my favorite posters. Even I, at 28 years old now, feel like a veteran, even though I am still a bit young, lol.

I hope they find a way to keep Konrad. Is he really THAT bad at blocking? And who better to help teach him than VD?
It just seems that the Garbage Man would be an excellent match for "educated sails" and grounders by Alex imo.
